The following techniques will be tested for the appropriate listed Dan grade:
1. DAN
SUWARI WAZA All techniques (particular techniques chosen by the examinar/s.) HANMIHANTACHI WAZA All techniques (particular techniques chosen by the examinar/s.) TACHI WAZA All techniques (particular techniques chosen by the examinar/s.) TANTO DORI Randori, at least 10 techniques from each attack. All techniques (2 - 3 different attacks are chosen by the examinar/s.) Chudan tsuki, Yodan tsuki, Shomen uchi, Yokomen uchi, Gyaku yokomen uchi, Ushiro.
2. DAN
SUWARI WAZA All techniques (particular techniques chosen by the examinar/s.) HANMIHANTACHI WAZA All techniques (particular techniques chosen by the examinar/s.) TACHI WAZA All techniques (particular techniques chosen by the examinar/s.) NININ DORI Randori with two opponents. 2 - 3 different attacks are chosen by the examiner/s. Chudan tsuki, Yodan tsuki, Shomen uchi, Yokomen uchi, Gyaku yokomen uchi, Ushiro. KEN SABAKI, JO SABAKI Ikkyo (omote & ura), nikkyo, sankyo (omote & ura), gokyo, irimi nage, kote gaeshi (omote & ura), shiho nage (omote & ura), ude kime nage, soto/uchi kaiten nage. At least 3 forms of each technique (different forms based on the different principles of movement, for gokyo only 1 form.) For some techniques, examiner/s can ask for a presentation of the empty-handed form of the corresponding ken sabaki and jo sabaki technique.
3. DAN
TOSHU HENKA Individual presentation should include suwari, hanmi hantachi & tachi waza and must include grabbing, cutting and attacks form behind, estimated time: between 10 - 15 minutes KEN TAI KEN, KEN TAI JO Ikkyo (omote & ura), nikkyo, sankyo (omote & ura), gokyo, kote gaeshi, shiho nage. At least 3 forms of each techniques ( different forms based on the principle of movement ), for gokyo only 1 form. For some techniques, examiner/s can ask for a presentation of the empty-handed form of the corresponding ken tai ken or ken tai jo technique. TACHIDORI, JO DORI Chudan tsuki, jodan tsuki, uchi (shomen, yokomen, gyaku yokomen). For jo dori also a big cut thrown out form behind opponent's head and attacks against knee. At least 5 forms of each techniques ( both left-hand and right-hand version). In some techniques, examinar/s can ask for a presentation of the empty-handed form of the corresponding jo dori technique.
